  • Project-based activities
  • Laboratory work
  • Workshops
  • Tutorial examples
  • An optional placement
  • Careers events
  • Site visits
Key themes You’ll study key technical areas including digital electronics, electrical energy systems, communication engineering, system on chip (SoC) design and digital signal processing (DSP). You’ll also have the option to select from specialist modules in areas including robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). Industry-standard approaches and lab equipment are used in these modules, and tutorial examples use realistic and relevant problems to enhance your understanding of contemporary requirements. As well as improving your technical skills and knowledge, we also focus on building wider professional skills, such as planning, research techniques and promoting innovation.
