Course summary

This MSc is for you if you’re interested in studying for a research degree in the social sciences, or want to learn about research methods. Based at the School of Global Studies at Sussex, this course is ideal if you are seeking ESRC funding. You can also take this course as a stand-alone degree if you wish to apply advanced research methodologies to an area of academic or policy interest without doing a PhD. We understand that deciding where and what to study is a very important decision. We’ll make all reasonable efforts to provide you with the courses, services and facilities described in this prospectus. Entry requirements

You should normally have an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree or above. Your qualification should be in a relevant social sciences subject, but you may still be considered for the course if your qualification is in a different subject area. You may also be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.
