Unique in Scotland, this course provides a strategic understanding of international tourism and airline management that could literally lead to a high flying career, with the main lecturer previously a BA airline pilot. International travel has never been easier than it is today – Edinburgh being the busiest airport in Scotland, so why not take the opportunity to learn from professionals who have worked in the industry and train for a tourism and airline-related career. With this being a growth sector, there are a wide range of job opportunities available in the tourism and airline sectors. Designed to equip you with the essential skills you’ll need for a career in tourism or a related industry, the course options allow you to focus on areas of which are of particular interest to you. Strong industry links with local airports such as Edinburgh Airport provide guest lecturers and open up work-related opportunities, for example in summer positions and live projects.
