Course summary

Start your career in civil engineering with this two-year foundation degree, in subjects ranging from design through to site investigation. These modules introduce the methods and practices of engineering design, allowing you to become acquainted with the basic principles of design and the design process. This will include the important link between design and manufacture. Materials selection, an essential part of the design process, will be facilitated by an understanding of key materials properties, the basis for the selection of materials for a given application. This foundation degree is offered by one of the university's partner colleges, London South East Colleges (LSEC), on its Bromley Campus. What you should know about this course

We accept A Levels, T Levels, BTECs, Access to HE and all other qualifications with UCAS Tariff points. Applicants without the required UCAS Tariff points that have relevant experience may be considered. Please note: part-time applicants must be in employment.
