Course summary

Are you aiming to advance into senior roles within the field of engineering? On our Engineering Management postgraduate course, you will develop a wide array of both engineering and managerial skills and competencies, enabling you to lead effectively on engineering projects as well as managing across other sectors. The UK stands to benefit significantly from adopting Industry 4.0 technologies and processes, while the country needs a skilled engineering workforce to reach a national target of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Studying our engineering master’s course will arm you with the essential knowledge to meet this need, enabling you to develop an advanced understanding of innovative and exciting technologies such as cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), nano and bio technologies and sustainable engineering. In addition, you will learn core business and management principles and how to utilise technical, financial and human resources effectively. As part of our postgraduate engineering course, you will be able to develop your practical skills in our outstanding engineering facilities on campus. Entry requirements

**Entry requirements** - Masters Entry Requirements - A good UK honours degree (minimum 2:2), or international equivalent, in in engineering, physical sciences or a related engineering or technological discipline where relevant subject areas have been studied. - We will also consider your application if you have significant, related experience - you should be in employment for a minimum of five years at managerial level in engineering and be able to provide a reference detailing roles and responsibilities from their line manager. - English Language - IELTS Score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component. Please note: As an International Student, when choosing optional placement, a visa extension may be required.
