Course summary
The Higher National Certificate in Engineering for England provides a solid grounding for those wanting to develop their skills and knowledge through practical study. You will study a mixture of core mandatory and specialist units which meet the requirements of Occupational Standards in order to develop the abilities and confidence needed to lead, manage and respond to a range of complex engineering situations. Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) are new qualifications that have been developed by awarding bodies in collaboration with employers, so you’ll get the right training, knowledge and skills to succeed in the workplace. The Pearson BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Engineering for England is offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, allowing you to study a range of core and specialist units to help you progress within Engineering.
