A specialist MBA with Risk Management will develop your personal capabilities, skills and knowledge in decision making theory and provide the tools that might be used to aid decision making and problem solving applied to risk, crisis, and resilience. You will develop holistic thinking skills with systems thinking at its core applied to risk management. You will learn how to apply to theories, tools, and techniques in decision analysis, risk and resilience management to complex organisational systems. Applying decision making approaches is key to today’s managers as it enables analysing risks from multiple perspectives and gaining insights into complex relationships to developing organisational resilience. This pathway will be of key interest to anyone in a leadership position and essential to anyone directly involved in managing compliance, strategic and operational risk.
Entry requirements
You will normally be expected to satisfy at least one of the following admission requirements: Have a degree awarded by an appropriate institution Have a postgraduate award (passed at an appropriate level) Have an appropriate professional qualification such as those from ACCA or CIMA Have passed a pre-Master's, or other foundation course Be a mature student with relevant work or professional experience You may also be considered with other academic, vocational or professional qualifications deemed equivalent. NB: International students may be interested to note UWS work in partnership with Olympia College to deliver the MBA course in Malaysia.
