Course summary
Our MPharm Pharmacy with Preparatory Year course will set you on the path to a career as a qualified pharmacist. You will learn how the body works, how medicines affect it, and how these medicines are designed. The course focuses on different areas of the body and you will learn the chemistry, biology and pharmacy related to each one. This will enable you to apply information to patient care right from the first year. This degree is accredited by the pharmacy regulator, the General Pharmaceutical Council, and has been designed to reflect the changing roles of pharmacists. Additional fee information
For Home students: please note that £9,535 is the minimum fee expected, this may increase subject to government approval.
For EU and International students: tuition fees for 2026/7 (the foundation year) will be £23,000 (a decrease from the standard International tuition fee rate applicable to the subsequent years of the Bachelors degree). The tuition fee for the following years of Bachelors level study (i.e. those following the foundation year) will be £30,650 per year.
