The BSc (Hons) Nursing Practice (Child) course is an exciting and innovative programme, which addresses the changing healthcare needs of children. This degree will give you the ability to gain graduate employment as a children’s nurse working in a diverse range of settings. Throughout the course, you will gain an in-depth understanding of how to provide care to children and their families. Completion of this course will give you an academic qualification and will lead to eligibility to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a children’s nurse. The course is perfect for those who have a passion to make a difference, a desire to care for children and their families, and an eagerness to develop excellent communication skills. The School of Health, Science and Wellbeing is committed to creating safer communities. It will achieve this through making an intellectual contribution in the field of patient safety – marking itself out as the recognised though leaders in the United Kingdom and beyond.
