Our MSc Marketing and Marketing Communications equips you with the comprehensive skill set needed to create impactful campaigns, develop strategic communication plans and deliver commercial communications that resonate with diverse audiences across a wide variety of digital media channels. Graduates of MSc Marketing and Marketing Communications will be equipped for a wide range of roles within the marketing communications, advertising and media industries. Whatever your backgrounds, you'll be prepared to work in areas such as brand management, creative strategy, digital marketing, media planning and public relations across diverse sectors.

Contemporary marketing practice; strategic marketing planning; principles of marketing communications; marketing analytics; research methods for marketing; digital marketing; corporate communications; dissertation research methods.

Assessment method

Assessment is through supervised mini-projects, presentations, time-constrained assignments and examinations.


Entry requirements

You will need: an honours degree of 2:2 or above in any subject. If you do not meet the above grade requirements but have at least 12 months relevant professional experience and/ or equivalent qualifications, we will consider you on an individual basis.


English language requirements

International and EU applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with 5.5 in each component (or approved equivalent*). *The University accepts a large number of UK and international qualifications in place of IELTS.
