Course summary
This course gives students a core grounding in marketing whilst developing a marketing communications specialism and is of particular interest to professionals in the creative sector. Designed for those already working in marketing, this course helps students gain the skills and insight needed to take that vital step up the ladder or move into a specialist role.
Modules
Contemporary marketing practice; strategic marketing planning; principles of marketing communications; marketing analytics; research methods for marketing; digital marketing; corporate communications; dissertation research methods.
Assessment method
Assessment is through supervised mini-projects, presentations, time-constrained assignments and examinations.
Entry requirements
Applicants need an Honours degree of 2:2 or above in any subject. Applicants whose 1st language is not English are required to meet the UK Border Agency and Universities minimum English language requirements, such as the International English Language Test (IELTS) 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
