You’ll explore the strategic importance of human resource and people management, as well as contemporary issues such as globalisation, sustainability, entrepreneurship and innovation, social responsibility, diversity, ethics, and risk management. As well as looking at how businesses operate, our BSc (Hons) Business and Management degree has a strong focus on learning and development. You’ll acquire a comprehensive understanding of the way individuals – as well as organisations – learn, develop, and grow. As part of this we’ll discuss human resource development and performance improvement. While studying with us, you’ll become adept at using communication and information technology effectively for business. You’ll also become familiar with standards of professional practice in a range of scenarios, for example as an employee advocate, HR practitioner or a consultant.
