From editing and sound to grading and VFX, this is the only undergraduate degree in the UK to specialise in film post production. The course has been co-created with Bristol’s world class film and TV companies to train the next generation of post production specialists. We focus on the jobs available in the ever-expanding field of post production. You'll learn online and offline editing, colour grading, DIT, sound design and specialist training in broadcast delivery. Where can this course take you? This course will help you gain the skills to work in the film, streaming and TV industries. Graduates are well placed to apply for roles such as colourist, grading assistant, ADR editor, sound assistant, deliverables producer and digital imaging technician (DIT), alongside many others. Where you'll study Our Film School is based at the Tobacco Factory in the centre of Bristol’s vibrant arts district. You'll also work out of boomsatsuma Studios in BS4, as well as on location with numerous industry partners. Across our locations you can access production and post production suites (Avid, DaVinci), a green screen studio, cameras (Arri, Blackmagic, Sony), and sound and lighting equipment. Modules
Our modules are designed to give you a solid understanding of the foundations of filmmaking with an emphasis on editing, sound, grading, finishing and delivery. From year one you'll network with and gain work experience from companies including Films at 59, Gorilla, Evolutions, Doghouse Post Production and Plimsoll Productions.
