We are a top 5 UK modern university for Sociology in the Complete University Guide 2025. Our course allows you to combine the study of psychology with sociology. Examine, investigate and understand human life and experiences while developing a detailed understanding of the social world, the complexities of human relationships and social forces. The course is made up of around 75% psychology and 25% sociology. This course is accredited by the British Psychological Society and provides eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartership, the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist. In second year, students do have the option of undertaking 'Volunteering and Employability'. This can include an element of work placement..
