With a strong focus on your future employability, our accredited business Master’s in Strategic Business Management will give you a broad understanding of operations and how each business area impacts and influences another. You will gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the key aspects of strategic business and management in a global context. Our Master’s in Strategic Business Management will provide you with an excellent grounding in the key aspects of business and management faced by businesses today. Designed with input from successful business professionals, and covering a range of different modules, we will ensure you have the best foundation for your professional career. This course is accredited by The Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Students can opt to be registered as a CMI member and be eligible to receive a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice upon successful completion of the programme. This course is also offered as an ‘Accredited Degree’ by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CiM) meaning students will be able to gain industry-recognised qualifications at an accelerated pace. Your learning experience is important to us and that’s why this course is taught by academics with extensive industry expertise in workshop-style classes to ensure greater interaction and a personalised learning experience. You will apply the theoretical concepts of business management to real life case studies and will also have opportunities to work with professional bodies and employers. MSc Strategic Business Management with Professional Practice This course is offered as a 2-year full-time business master’s programme. Sharing the first year of study with the 1-year MSc Strategic Business Management, the 2-year programme benefits from a second year of Professional Practice that is specifically aimed at fostering the employment opportunities of students. Offering greater flexibility than a traditional Placement Year, our Professional Practice Year allows you to decide how to put your skills into practice. Choose between an academic dissertation, business plan, business or consultancy project, or a paid placement in industry, depending on the option that is best suited to your future career path. Assessment method

Assessments are designed to meet the programme and module learning outcomes both academically and professionally and are both formative and summative. The formative assessments include the preparation and feedback from seminars, workshops, tests and presentations. Summative assessments that contribute to the grade may include written assignment, group work/studies, project and possibly exams.

Entry requirements

2:2 or above from a UK Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification(s) English language requirements for applicants whose first language is not English - An English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
