Course summary

(Subject to Approval) The Higher Nationals in Esports have been created in partnership with the British Esports Federation. This collaboration guarantees that the qualifications meet industry standards and requirements, thereby improving the employability of graduates. The British Esports Federation is a prominent national organisation that promotes growth, education, and talent within the esports industry.

Modules

The Level 4/Year 1 Esports (Production) modules are as follows; Core Mandatory Units (15 credits each):

  • Esports Ecosystems
  • Skills and Tactics Analysis
-Event Planning and Delivery -Planning an Esports Project (Pearson-set Unit) Specialist Mandatory Units (15 credits each): -Audio-Visual Production -Streaming and Broadcasting -On-Air Talent Optional Units (15 credits each): Plus 15 credits from Toournament Operations The level 5/year 2 modules are as follows; Core Manadatory Units (15 credits each)
  • Professional Development
  • Esports Research Project (30 Credits)
Specialist Mandatory Units -Content Creation
  • Set Design
Creative Direction and Narratives Optional Units -Event and Production Financing -Social Media Management
