The Law Higher National Certificate (HNC) aims to provide you with a basic understanding of the practice of law in the modern world. Success in this field demands discipline, strategic thinking, a solid knowledge of legislation and the ability to adapt to different scenarios. As legal knowledge is key for success in this career, this course focuses on teaching you key theoretical principles, with fundamental best practices such as making succinct legal arguments. This HNC follows the Year 1 curriculum of the Law and Practice BA (Hons) degree course. The first year of this course focuses on the civil justice system and property law aspects of English Law.
