This professionally accredited BEng Honours degree includes a year in industry, boosting your academic knowledge with practical work experience in the civil engineering sector. You'll learn about the infrastructure that underpins our quality of life, such as: • water supply and sanitation • transportation • structures You also develop a strong understanding of how society might address global challenges such as climate change, population growth and resource scarcity. Design projects give you the opportunity to showcase your professional skills, particularly in sustainable engineering. Between Stages 2 and 3 you take a paid year in industry. This is a great opportunity for you to gain first-hand experience in the civil engineering sector. Some host companies even offer their placement students a job after they graduate.
