Marketing (with Foundation) at University of Gloucestershire - UCAS

Course summary

Why an Integrated Foundation Stage? An Integrated Foundation Stage starts your degree studies with a year spent learning the skills required to progress onto a full honours degree. Alongside an introduction to Marketing, you will develop valuable study skills, communication, team work and problem-solving techniques which help to build your confidence and prepare you for the rest of your course. Why Marketing? Our Marketing degree prepares you for a successful career as you design effective marketing solutions for real-world campaigns. You’ll explore subjects such as customer behaviour, marketing principles and the global business environment, before specialising in areas to match your own interests and career ambitions. You can pursue one of our suggested course routes in digital marketing or marketing management, or choose your own individual combination of modules. Graduation from a suggested course stream will even give you eligibility to apply for Associated Membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), recognised by major employers. You’ll learn in the new state-of-the-art School of Business and Technology at our Oxstalls campus, giving you access to facilities including a consumer behaviour lab, to technology such as body scanners and to world-leading marketing simulation software, BrandPRO. This will help equip you with the knowledge and skills to utilise modern-day marketing practices including the innovative management of virtual online stores. As well as drawing on the expertise of experienced lecturers, you’ll benefit from placement opportunities and the chance to build entrepreneurial knowledge and practical employment skills, working on live projects and engaging with real businesses through The Growth Hub.
