Course summary

This course may also have a part-time study option. This course aims to develop students’ marketing management skills, knowledge and understanding to achieve high performance and deliver marketing activities to drive business. It will provide insight into marketing operations and the opportunities and challenges presented so that students can create, manage and maintain key marketing channels, including digital, offline and social media. This course is aimed at individuals who want to progress onto university to study marketing or wanting to start their career within the field. Core modules: Unit 1- The Marketing and Sales Environment Unit 2- Principles of Marketing and Sales Unit 3- Market Research and Techniques (Pearson set) Unit 4- Managing Customers Unit 5- Business Skills and Communication Unit 6- Product, Content and Multi-channels Unit 7- Marketing Strategy and Planning Unit 8- Managing Marketing and Digital Communications This course has Higher Technical Qualification status or HTQ for short and is co-written with employers and approved by IFATE. Progression opportunities: 1. Marketing Executive 2. Marketing Officer 3. Marketing and communications officer 4. Marketing Co-Ordinator 5. Digital Marketing Executive The Level 4 Higher National Certificate is recognised by Higher Education providers as meeting admission requirements to progress to the second year of an undergraduate degree programme for many relevant courses, for example: ● BA (Hons) Business and Marketing ● BA (Hons) Marketing ● BA (Hons) International Marketing Please note that course viability is subject to the final number of enrolments.
