Course summary
Develop and further your knowledge of respiratory medicine and learn the necessary skills to understand and conduct biomedical/clinical research. MSc Respiratory Medicine is an academic course designed to develop and further your understanding and knowledge of respiratory medicine focusing on up-to-date research and developments in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases. The course is suitable for healthcare professionals, researchers and intercalating medical students. You will receive training in the skills required in the reading and interpretation of the literature and translating that into evidence-based practice. The course culminates in the Research Dissertation, which will be assessed through your production of a research article written in the style of publishable scientific work and a short oral presentation.
