This BSc Business Management (Human Resource Management) is designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of how businesses and their workforce operate and succeed, while providing you with a range of practical skills needed in today's world of business. Why choose this course?

What you will learn You will learn the analytical skills to critically appraise and challenge existing managerial and business practices, especially in the area of human resource management. You will learn about:
  • how organisations are managed
  • the environment in which they operate
  • how decisions are made
  • how to manage organisational behaviour and change.
How you will learn You will learn via a range of different methods including lectures, seminars, presentations and group discussions. To help you gain practical knowledge first-hand, we also host guest speakers and offer you live case study sessions and panel discussions with entrepreneurs and practitioners. You can study this course full- or part-time. You can also choose your own timetable for the core/compulsory modules selecting whether to study them in the daytime or in the evening. Placement route If you opt for the full-time Placement route on this course, it will give you the opportunity to develop your business skills in the workplace and apply learning from your degree in a professional setting to further increase your employability when you graduate. Please note that this option is not available for students who require a Student visa to study in the UK. Foundation Year If you opt for the Foundation Year route, this will fully prepare you for undergraduate study. It is ideal if you are returning to study after a gap, or if you have not previously studied the relevant subjects, or if you didn't achieve the grades you need for a place on your chosen undergraduate degree.
