You will have an opportunity to work on a diverse range of briefs and roles to fully experience the variety of careers and applications available to you. Taught at University Centre Farnborough, with access to specialised spaces and equipment WHAT WILL I STUDY? You will develop creative storytelling, camera and editing, as well as entrepreneurial attitudes which are vital in the film and broadcast industries. You will produce a diverse range of productions, including film for the cinema, podcasting, streaming media, and multi-camera production in the television studio. You will explore both theory and production, taking advantage of our production an learning facilities. Students on this course gain a broad and solid understanding of the different media and can recognise their strengths and develop their creative voices in order to better insert themselves into the existing landscapes of media professionals, such as film producers, camera operators, writers, lighting and equipment technicians, sports reporters, TV producers, content creators, social media managers, and more. We will provide you with an Adobe Creative Suite account, on which you can develop technical skills in a variety of industry-level software, although these will be applicable to many alternative platforms and software brands. You will work in production roles such as vision mixing, lighting, scriptwriting, sound design, directing, and more. You will be encouraged to be innovative and cutting-edge during this course through creative projects.
