Our Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry with Integrated Master's provides excellent preparation for those wanting to pursue a career in scientific research. The programme offers a strong grounding in chemistry, supplemented by specialist knowledge of medicinal chemistry. You will develop an understanding of the complex biological and chemical problems that are involved in the design and mixture of innovative drugs and you will spend time in your final year working on an independent, medicinal chemistry research project. In your final year of study you will study advanced topics at the cutting-edge of chemistry and medicinal chemistry and develop your research skills by exploring areas including funding, publishing, research integrity and ethics. You will have the opportunity to work on a substantial medicinal chemistry independent research project, where you will work alongside PhD and postdoctoral researchers in contributing to the advancement of chemical science. This may include contributing as co-author to papers in the scientific literature. About Keele Keele University was established in 1949 by the former Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University.
