You will work alongside other built environment postgraduates, gaining valuable contacts and insights into other disciplines. If you're looking to progress in general practice surveying, property management, investment , development, banking , government or other property related fields, Real Estate at LSBU could be perfect for you! Why Real Estate at LSBU? Course content: Focusing on commercial property for occupation, development and investment, largely in an urban context. Insights: Into the nature of land and property investment, development and management and the impact on the vitality of our cities and environment. Graduate prospects: Our graduates go on to work in finance, banking and real estate. Many form their own companies and we keep an open dialogue with our alumni helping to keep the course grounded and employment opportunities available. We offer different course options, depending on your circumstances: New Cognate version: This year we are looking to recruit those working in Real Estate or within local authority/housing associations who wish to match their experience with a route to a professional qualification, If you hold an undergraduate Surveying/Real Estate degree or relevant experience, you could apply for the ‘Surveying graduates’ route as you will study fewer modules; your previous experience will be taken into account. UK MSc Students will pay from £11,000 full time. PG Dip students from £7,334 full time. As this is a new option you will need to discuss your interest initially with the Course Director, Andrew Maber-Jones, at [email protected]. Non-Cognate version: If you do not hold an undergraduate Surveying degree, you should apply for our ‘Conversion’ course. Two supplementary modules at the beginning of the course bring you up to speed in relation to Valuation & Surveying, Sustainable Construction before you embark on the master’s level modules. These supplementary modules are a distinguishing feature of the course and are highly valued by students and their employers. There is a higher fee for this course because you will be studying more credits. The non-cog masters full time for a UK student starts at £14667 and a PG Dip full time from £11000. For the above routes, you can opt to study either a full master’s qualification or a PGDip qualification (the same course but the PG Dip you do not complete a dissertation).
