International luxury fashion brands inspire and inform the zeitgeist of the global fashion industry. The management of these elite organisations requires the application of creativity and strong business acumen at every level. Our MA Luxury Fashion Brand Management course aims to provide advanced skills and knowledge in contemporary and emerging branding and fashion management practice and theory. The course examines the organisational development and sustainability of high-profile luxury brands and the creation of unique and individualised products and services. Marketing and branding strategies are analysed and critically evaluated as organisational functions. Branding practice focuses on brand equity and brand management, product innovation, the consumer experience, digital environments, e-commerce and luxury brands, brand and marketing metrics and performance measurement, consumer and international culture, IPR law and the copy culture. Assessment method
Assessment is 100% by coursework and involves case studies, an industry report, presentations (individual and team), a project proposal and an individual research project.
How to apply
International applicants
**English language requirements** If English isn't your first language, you need to show us that your language skills are strong enough for intensive academic study. You can check our language requirements and list of accepted English language tests. Your British Council office can tell you where you can take an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test locally. Applicants who have taken a higher degree at a UK university don't usually have to meet this requirement.
Entry requirements
2.2 honours degree. Applicants with non-standard entry qualifications and / or relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis. **Other requirements** ELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill) and a short report illustrating your knowledge and perspective on an aspect of the fashion industry.
