Assessment method
To cater for the wide-ranging content of our courses and the varied learning preferences of our students, we offer a range of assessment methods on each programme. The assessment requirements of the programme and each module are designed to reflect assessments that are authentic and relevant to today's health professional. 7005NAPPG Principles of Clinical Education and Supervision The assessment is submitted in week 15 of the module and comprises two elements: A written essay detailing critical discussion of the development of a clinical education resource. Submission of a peer-review of clinical teaching/supervision in practice using provided proforma. 7004NAPPG Multi-professional Leadership and Management The assessment for this module is a 20-minute presentation detailing a narrative to accompany a PowerPoint presentation and upload the recording to the virtual learning environment (VLE). 7016NAPPG Contemporary Innovations in Clinical Education The assessment for this module is the submission of a proposal of an innovation. The proposal should incorporate an innovative tool to engage and enhance clinical education across a platform. It can be presented in a means driven by students choice.
Entry requirements
Undergraduate degree BA/BSc (Hons) in relevant field at 2:2 or above, or evidence of potential to study at Masters Level Relevant work experience Applicants must be able to facilitate the achievement of the assessment of competency required with an appropriately qualified supervisor and within an appropriate clinical setting.
