In subsequent years, you will benefit from a wide choice of sociology units linked to staff research interests. You will extend your training in quantitative research to include hands-on experience with real, large-scale survey data, using advanced analytical techniques and professional statistical software. In your final year, complete a capstone dissertation on a topic of your choice using survey data, supported by close supervision of an academic specialising in quantitative methods.
