Our foundation year is an intensive and exciting year of study. Focusing on areas such as the creative industries and video production, you'll create a toolkit of essential academic and practical skills. We’ll support you to work towards your own learning goals in an encouraging, rewarding environment. You'll study with dedicated lecturers from UEA’s Interdisciplinary Institute for the Humanities. Alongside Film and Media, you’ll explore a wide range of related academic subjects. We’ll help you make connections between different disciplines to spark your creativity. During your foundation year, you’ll have access to all the opportunities and resources that UEA has to offer. This includes our brilliant in-house media facilities, incorporating a television studio, so you can develop your practical and creative production skills. As your academic interests and passions evolve during the year, you’ll be well-placed to progress onto the degree that’s right for you. After successfully completing your foundation year, you’ll move straight onto the BA Film and Television Production degree.
