Course Overview Do you want to create characters and environments for animation, games, comics, or products? This four-year degree with an integrated foundation year gives you the time and support to develop your portfolio, build essential skills, and prepare for success in the fast-growing creative industries. Taught in a studio-style environment, you’ll learn drawing and image-making, explore 3D modelling and digital tools, and develop concepts and visuals for characters and worlds. Why study this degree?

Modules
Year 1 (Integrated Foundation Year) Year 1 will introduce you to the fundamental principles of design and creative problem-solving. This foundation year gives you the time, space and support to explore your creative identity, build confidence and prepare for the demands of studio-based, project-led learning. Modules are as follows: Module 1 Diagnostic exploration: making informed choices Module 2 Technical: Technical knowledge in practice Module 3 Specialist: Innovating specialist practice Module 4 Integration: Integrated practice for progression to Higher Education
