Course summary
This programme will suit students who wish to develop a career in the exciting and ever-changing IT sector. The recognised progression route is the BA (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems. Graduates have employment prospects in Computing or ICT related disciplines, for example: software engineers, software developers, information managers, website designers and technical support.
Modules
Year 1 Modules May include: Programming Networking Professional Practice Database design and Development Security Software Development Lifecycles Website Design and Development Managing a Successful Computing Project. Year 2 Modules may include: Computing Research Project Business Intelligence Advanced Programming Database Management Systems Subject to demand and viability additional units in the following pathways may be offered: Games Networks General.
Assessment method
This programme will include lectures and workshop sessions. You will have to complete written assignments as you progress through the programme.
