YEAR 1 MODULES In your first year, you’ll gain essential knowledge in both events and festivals and creative industries management Studying Event & Festival Management in the Creative Industries Project Management and Planning Marketing & Communications in the Creative Industries The Live Event YEAR 2 MODULES In your second year, you’ll enhance your understanding of event and festival management practice within creative sectors. Exploring Event & Festival Management in the Creative Industries Engaging Audiences & Teams Innovation & Analytics Virtual & Hybrid Event Management YEAR 3 MODULES Your final year will provide opportunities to focus on advanced event and festival management topics, industry connections and your creative event and festival management specialist identity Industry Investigation The Creative Business Professional International Events & Festivals Major Event/Festival Management Project

Assessment method

You will experience a wide range of assessment methods at LMA which are focused around developing and assessing your understanding and practical application of a broad range of topics and skills in events and festival management as they are used within the Creative Industries . Types of assessment you will encounter include creative reports; real world case study projects; individual and group presentations; pitches and project portfolios; and reflective evaluative tasks.

International applicants

This course is unable to accept international applicants who need a Tier 4 Student Visa to study in the UK as LMA does not hold a UKVI licence

Entry requirements

Qualification requirements

LMA are happy to accept a wide range of qualifications, including but not limited to: A Levels, BTEC Extended Diploma, OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma, BTEC Subsidiary Diploma(s), Access to HE courses, Scottish Highers, IB Diploma Programme, Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, RSL Level 3 Diploma and T Levels. We also welcome students who have a combination of qualifications - e.g. 2 A Levels and 1 BTEC Subsidiary Diploma and an extended project. Our academic entry criteria from qualifications you are currently taking is 96 UCAS tariff points and your offer will be tailored to reflect this. We assess all applications individually.
