This programme is for students who want to engage with a wide range of industrial, commercial and research aspects of the energy sector. A focus on the current challenges and future opportunities leads students to research and investigate the implications of the many factors, environmental, technological, social and political, that influence the energy sector. It provides students with the knowledge and tools to identify pathways towards a more sustainable future, and ultimately enhances their ability to improve conditions for the wider population. Students on the programme come from a range of backgrounds including engineering, environmental studies, finance, economics and law as well as professionals from the energy sector. Objectives This MSc degree has been designed to give you a wide perspective when it comes to analysing and forecasting the future for energy, environmental technology and economics. The Energy and Environmental Technology and Economics MSc will help you:
