International Business and Marketing programme at DMU offers in-depth knowledge of major functions, and key topics within business and marketing. The programme equips students with academically relevant knowledge and practical skills that are necessary to succeed in the uncertain, increasingly globalised world and enhance employability. Throughout this course, you will learn why and how firms go international, as well as what determines the success and failure of firms in today’s international business environment. You will gain an understanding of international marketing and how it’s affected by companies operating on a multinational level. Assessment method

The learning and teaching methods on this programme embrace a broad range of approaches that have demonstrated effectiveness in postgraduate marketing education. These will include a mixture of workshops, tutorials, practical learning sessions, online resources and formative assessments to ensure all learning styles are acknowledged. For assessment, we will use a series of portfolio tasks in most modules, including a broad range of assessments, such as essays, reports, exams, MCQs, presentations. Alongside summative feedback, students will be given feedback throughout the programme to develop and improve their knowledge, skills and understanding.

Applicants will normally hold an undergraduate degree in any subject with a minimum pass of 2:2, or equivalent overseas qualification, or an equivalent professional qualification.
