Course summary
Train in the theory and practice of medical ultrasound on this Master's course. You'll explore the physics and scientific theories of medical ultrasound before specialising in vascular technology and ultrasound. You'll perform and interpret a comprehensive ultrasound analysis and develop your skills on a placement in a hospital department. An extended research project also forms a major part of your studies, during which time you'll consolidate your skills in the use of statistical principles. A varied programme of study will build your expertise in interpreting data and clinical decision-making, in preparation for a career as a sonographer or within healthcare.
Entry requirements
2:1 in medicine, biological sciences, engineering or a physical sciences subject. We also accept a wide variety of international qualifications.
