Course summary

In our forward-thinking course, you focus on environmental change on a local and global scale before exploring the principles and sustainable techniques underlying its effective management. You investigate cutting-edge biotechnological solutions at the forefront of modern innovation and, with our student-centred teaching, go on to assess how they work in practice via real-world projects and hands-on application. Industry links The University’s Life Sciences Liaison Board collaborates closely with real-world organisations and has representatives from organisations including Luton Borough Council and TeknTrash, who are experts in waste management using AI. This ensures our degree aligns with the needs of both industry and society as well as providing you with invaluable opportunities for networking and work experience.
