You learn from on-campus classes and 18 weeks of placements in schools in Scotland. The qualification allows you to teach in locations worldwide. If you're a Scottish or rest of UK student, you're guaranteed a job for one year in a Scottish school after you graduate. You should hold a degree validated by a higher education institution in the UK, or a degree of an equivalent standard from an institution from outside the UK. As well as academic qualifications, you will need to be able to show evidence that you have experience working with children in a primary school setting or related context, an understanding of modern primary education, and an ability to relate to people.
