Course summary
Our International Communication and International Business BA is designed to focus on the skillset and communication needs of a variety of businesses. It offers you the chance to develop your knowledge of business and communication methods while also building the practical skills and capabilities required for you to function effectively in an international business environment. It pays attention to key issues in business today, like equality and sustainability. The course aims to develop an enquiring, critical and reflective approach to ideas and issues, preparing you to thrive in a range of workplaces such as private businesses, the public or third sectors, self-employment, and multinational corporations and institutions of all kinds. A range of flexible opportunities can be tailored to you, including short field trips, summer schools, a semester spent studying abroad during the second year, and/or a year-long international experience or work placement between years two and three of the course. You’ll gain intercultural competence, communication and mediation skills for the professional world whilst contributing to a learning environment that values diversity, inclusivity and personal growth. You’ll graduate prepared to respond to contemporary business issues and the intercultural challenges of the global business environment.
