The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) affiliated Sunderland MBA offers a varied programme of lectures and applied learning through seminars, workshops and corporate engagement. A business simulation game is integrated into core teaching to cultivate and enhance leadership skills. Optional modules require viable numbers and may not run each academic year. You will be informed in Term 1 which options are available. Assessment method

Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, class discussions, case studies, group work, presentations and applied study. Your progress will be assessed with the dissertation and assignments, as well as exams in some topics. Compared to an undergraduate course, you will find that this Masters course requires a higher level of independent reading and research.

Entry requirements

To apply for this course you need at least a 2:2 honours degree, you must also have a minimum of six months work experience at graduate level, in either a managerial or professional capacity which may include voluntary work, placements, internships, project management etc.
