The world of Finance has evolved rapidly over the past few years with the emphasis on digitalisation and technological innovations giving birth to a new discipline known as Financial Technology. Financial Technology, popularly known as FinTech, spreads across diverse areas such as lending, digital banking, blockchain, cryptocurrency, digital currency, regtech, alternative finance, artificial intelligence and machine learning in finance. Our MSc Financial Technology programme aims to address the gaps between digital banking and traditional banking services as well as offer you the most current financial and technical skills required for you to succeed in the fast-growing FinTech industry. On this programme, you will gain an understanding of current developments in FinTech and Digital Banking and will be provided with the relevant hard and soft skills in a wide of range of areas relevant to the sector. You'll explore topics such as digital payment systems, financial appraisal, and cryptocurrencies and consider emerging technologies and their applications in finance such as blockchain, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
