Study MSc Accounting and Finance at the University of Portsmouth London, a TEF Gold-rated University based in the vibrant business district of Walthamstow and take your financial career to the next level.  Finance today is about more than numbers- it’s about turning data into insight and strategy into impact. This master’s course gives you the tools to analyse, interpret and communicate financial information that drives business performance and sustainable growth. You’ll explore advanced topics in financial reporting, analysis, strategic finance, taxation, auditing, forecasting and risk management, while learning how AI, data analytics and digital systems are transforming the global finance profession.  Through real-world case studies and collaborative projects, you’ll apply your learning in authentic business contexts, developing both technical and leadership skills. You’ll build hands-on experience with ERP systems, data visualisation tools and predictive financial models, preparing you to make informed, ethical and forward-looking financial decisions.  At our London campus, you’ll study at the heart of one of the world’s major financial centres- surrounded by global banks, consultancies, fintech firms and investment houses. Our student-centred learning model- with one module at a time, small class sizes, no traditional exams and flexible timetables- supports both your professional ambitions and work-life balance.  This degree opens doors to roles such as Accountant, Financial Analyst, Auditor, Investment Manager, Tax Consultant or Corporate Finance Specialist, across sectors including banking, consulting, fintech, insurance and the public sector. Many graduates progress to professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW or CFA, or continue their studies at doctoral level.  You’ll graduate equipped with the financial intelligence, digital fluency and ethical awareness to influence strategy, create value and build trust in an evolving global economy.
