Our HNC Manufacturing Engineering for England has been aligned with the occupational standard for Engineering Manufacturing Technician and approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE). Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) have been approved to meet relevant sector occupational standards. The Pearson BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Manufacturing Engineering for England (HTQ) bridges academic excellence with real-world industry practice. Developed in partnership with leading employers, professional bodies, and higher education providers, this qualification prepares you to become a reflective, professionally competent engineer capable of thriving in today's advanced manufacturing environments. Qualification requirements
Students will typically hold a BTEC Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering discipline. Applicants are also required to have English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C/4. Other level 3 qualifications will be considered upon their merits. We welcome applications from applicants who may not have met the academic criteria, but who can demonstrate experience in their chosen field.
