Hispanic Studies at University of Nottingham - UCAS

Course summary

Broaden your horizons professionally, intellectually and culturally by studying Spanish and (potentially) Portuguese. With Spanish being the second most spoken language in the world and Portuguese the most spoken language in the southern Hemisphere, this degree could take you almost anywhere! Live the life and culture of Spain or Latin America (and Portugal or Brazil if you continue with Portuguese) with a year abroad in year three. This exciting opportunity will develop your communication skills, build your confidence and help you stand out to future employers. You can study Spanish at Nottingham as a beginner or as someone who has already gained an A-level in the language. Over the first two years, you’ll follow either the ‘beginners’ or ‘advanced’ pathway, but everyone will reach the same level of proficiency by the end of the course. Portuguese may only be studied from ‘beginners’ level. Why choose this course
