Take your first steps towards a range of careers that make a difference with our LLB Law Single Honours at the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law. You will gain a comprehensive grounding in the core areas covered by a Law degree: Contract Law, Criminal Law, Land Law, Equity and Trusts, Law of Tort and Public Law. As your studies progress, you can choose from a wide range of specialised law modules relating to areas such as: Medicine, Human Rights, Family, the Environment, Trade, Employment, and the Media. All our law programmes contain the foundations of legal knowledge needed to enter the legal profession. Our programmes provide a strong foundation for those who wish to go on to take the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE) and they also satisfy the academic stage of training required by the Bar Standards Board for those looking to become Barristers. The School of Law provides you with exceptional student experience, excellent employability support, and a progressive curriculum. Modules
Your first year of study is made up of compulsory modules covering a range of themes. Compulsory modules are studied by all students on the programme, meaning you are automatically enrolled. Examples of compulsory modules include: • Public Law • Law of Tort • Contract Law • Legal System and Skills In your second year you will study a mixture of compulsory and optional modules, with your third year comprising totally of optional modules from a wide range of subject areas. We offer a variety of assessment methods within our programmes.
