Course summary

Compulsory Modules: Organisation of Knowledge; Information Retrieval and Access; Information Law, Library Technology & Systems; Human Information Behaviour; Information Analysis; Libraries, Information & Society; Research Methods; Dissertation.

Assessment method

Coursework assignments involve: individual work; group projects; exams; practical work in computer laboratories. For the award of the MSc, you’ll be required to complete an individual project under supervision. This should contain an element of original research.

Minimum second class honours degree or international equivalent. You must have an English language minimum score of IELTS 6.0 (with no component below 5.5).
