Course summary
The MSc in Nursing is an accelerated nursing course leading to registration as an Mental Health Nurse. Nursing is a rewarding and challenging career that can offer you a wealth of opportunities once you have qualified. As an autonomous registered nurse, in either the Adult or Mental Health field of practise, you will have the opportunity to work alongside people experiencing changes to their health and wellbeing. On successful completion of the programme, you will be eligible to register your qualification with the NMC and practise as a registered nurse within your chosen field. These simulation suites allow you to practise hands-on skills in a fully-equipped, realistic hospital environment. Location Canterbury is just 50 miles south-east of London and less than an hour by high-speed train from St Pancras. Located on a UNESCO World Heritage Site the campus offers state-of-the-art buildings, right in the centre of a vibrant and world-famous cathedral city. Entry requirements
For the MSc Nursing (Adult/ Mental Health) you will hold a Bachelor's degree with Honours at a 2:1 in any subject or a 2:2 in a health related subject, such as Biological Sciences, Psychology or Public Health. You must also hold maths and English GCSE grade 4-9 (A-C) or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.
