Course summary
This course is currently taught by Confetti, but from September 2025 will be taught by the Nottingham School of Art & Design (NSA&D). Course content and learning outcomes will not change For those wanting to forge an exciting career in the live event production industry, Confetti is the place to study. You’ll work in a real-world live events venue, learning from our team of experts who are professionals in lighting design, live sound, broadcasting, live event planning, and live video installation and design, including LED video screen technology, and projection mapping pyrotechnics. Just like the professionals working in the live event industry, you’ll use PA systems from manufacturers including L’Accoustic, Nexo, and EV; lighting technology from Martin, Robe, Clay Paky and Chauvet; and digital and mixing consoles by DiGiCo, Allen & Heath, and Midas. You’ll get countless opportunities to add to your portfolio, both at Confetti and through external projects and events. From working in our live events venue to external venues such as Rough Trade and outdoor festivals including Splendour Festival.
