Assessment method
Assessment is via course work which includes essays, reports, practical observations and presentations. The assessment of Pearson's Higher National qualifications are criterion-referenced and you will provide evidence in the form of assignments, which are assessed against the unit learning outcomes and assessment criteria.

Qualification requirements
In order to study the Animal Management (Animal Behaviour and Welfare) HND Top-up Level 5, you will need to have a level 4 qualification in Animal Studies/Management; GCSEs in Maths, English and Science at grade 4 (C) or its equivalent; and the ability to demonstrate meaningful work experience.
