Our MSc in Project Management in the Built Environment prepares students to manage projects across the sector, from conception to completion, including specialist developments. Designed for those without a construction background, it aligns closely with our MSc in Construction Management. The course is shaped by industry input through our Professional Liaison Group (PLG), ensuring practical relevance. We maintain strong links with leading companies such as Laing O’Rourke, Kier, Mace, Willmott Dixon, and BAM Construction. Students tackle real industry challenges, gaining skills in

How to apply
International applicants
If your first language is not English you will require a minimum academic IELTS score of 6.5 overall with 6.0 in all components. OR An equivalent English language qualification acceptable to the University. Please also see the University's standard English language requirements.
Entry requirements
The course is open to applicants who hold a 2.2 undergraduate honours degree (or international equivalent) in any discipline. We will actively consider applications from candidates with lower degrees, who can evidence substantiated & relevant experience in construction. Industry professionals with suitable practice qualifications (e.g MRICS, MCIOB) - demonstrating ability to study at master's level, are also encouraged to apply.
