Course summary

This part-time, online marketing degree is for graduates, professionals, and career changers who want to step into leadership or move into fast-paced marketing roles. An MSc in Marketing gives you the strategic insight and practical skills to influence decisions, lead impactful campaigns, and drive business growth. You'll learn how to understand markets, shape brand direction, and spot opportunities others miss. With a strong mix of theory and real-world application, you'll be ready to add value from day one and stand out in a competitive global job market. This programme starts with core marketing principles. It then moves into specialist topics such as sustainability, digital marketing, and brand strategy. You’ll gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, including Mintel for market research and consumer insights, and Qualtrics for designing and analysing surveys. These tools support the development of evidence-based, job-relevant outputs.


Entry requirements

A minimum high 2:1 undergraduate Bachelor’s (honours) degree in a social science-related area with a final mark of at least 65% or above in the UK marking scheme. If you are still studying, you should be achieving an average of at least 65% or above in the UK marking scheme. If you have a lower degree classification, or a degree in an unrelated subject, your application may be considered if you can demonstrate significant relevant work experience, or offer a related graduate qualification (such as a master's or PGDip).
